Advanced Facilitator Training (High Performance Work Cultures) Review
TRAC Consulting in Partnership with its US based partners LearningChange LLC recently delivered its acclaimed Advanced Facilitator Training at the Caloundra Power Boat Club from April 30 to May 2nd. The event was well supported with attendees coming from the Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay and Cairns Regions.
The theme for this intensive three day event was the “Development of High Performance Work Cultures”. In what was a transformational event for all attendees the feedback suggests that this was one of the “BEST” training events that some participants had ever attended.
A few comments received via the Surveymonkey online feedback system were;
“A hands on practical workshop with real relevance to the workplace environment. Fun activities and great learning structures provided amazing insights into the power of being a great facilitator and team player”. Tim Saville – Life Coach and BYY program leader
“The Advanced Facilitator Training Program will allow me to grow both the business and the individuals that make up the team. The improvements in my communication skills, the ability to question, to explore and to lead will make me more effective in my role”.
Mike Tyson – Operations Manager – Caloundra Power Boat Club.
“The broad variety of activity based learning, case studies, and games provided as examples to allow us to physically see and to examine the thinking / actioning of the change process… that you make everyone be involved and endeavour to draw everyone out to be the best that they can be and to recognise that we can all change was awesome”. – Anonymous participant
The next scheduled Facilitator Training Program is scheduled for 24th - 26th October 2007.

Living Intuitively! – By Bruce Way
I would call this an oldie but a goodie. Authored by Australian Bruce Way and Published by Lothian Books of Melbourne in 1995 this book is often referred too as transformational.
Everyone has intuitive ability – women and men – but it often remains as an untapped resource. Recognising and developing your intuition is an exciting journey of self-discovery and personal development – like making a connection between common sense and your imagination. It is also described as a spiritual journey, one which can free you from everyday anxieties and negative attitudes.
Living Intuitively will help you to release your inner creativity, allowing you to live in a world of total possibilities.
We encourage you to find and read this book, it provides the tools to live life to the fullest, exploring new possibilities and following your heart on the journey of fulfilment, Our star rating is a four out of five. Living Intuitively should be easily found in all good book stores.
NEW Tool or Resource – www.Surveymonkey.com
For all those facilitators, trainers and consultants out there who receive our newsletter, we were recently introduced to a real gem of a tool for the gathering of feedback from clients, course participants and conference conveners. The tool known, as Survey Monkey is a web enabled (real time feedback) tool that operates off a robust data management framework that provides instantaneous reports and feedback from your clients.
In template format it is both a time and cost effective resource that gathers client feedback and forwards it remotely to your in box no matter where you are. Based upon our recent experiences with the program we highly recommend this product
Training / funding Opportunities:
A number of funding opportunities exist for the provision of inhouse training particularly for those organisations that have employees eligible to participate in career pathing opportunities. Training programs from the Tourism & Hospitality package and the Business Services Training Package such as Frontline Management (FMI) are eligible for funding. If you would like to discuss these funding initiatives further please do not hesitate to contact Mark Jones on 07 54947102 or 0421 688877 to discuss your options further.
