TRAC Consulting

"You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of. You don't have charge of the constellations, but you do have charge of whether you read, develop new skills and take new classes." Jim Rohn

Advanced Facilitator Training (High Performance Work Cultures) Review

TRAC Consulting in partnership with its US based partners Learningchange LLC recently delivered its acclaimed Advanced Facilitator Training at the Caloundra Power Boat Club from April 30 to May 2nd. The event was well supported with attendees coming from the Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay and Cairns Regions.

The theme for this intensive three-day event was the “Development of High Performance Work Cultures”. In what was a transformational event for all attendees the feedback suggests that this was one of the “BEST” training events that some participants had ever attended.

A few comments received via the Surveymonkey online feedback system were;

“A hands on practical workshop with real relevance to the workplace environment. Fun activities and great learning structures provided amazing insights into the power of being a great facilitator and team player”. Tim Saville – Life Coach and BYY program leader.

“The Advanced Facilitator Training Program will allow me to grow both the business and the individuals that make up the team. The improvements in my communication skills, the ability to question, to explore and to lead will make me more effective in my role”.
Mike Tyson – Operations Manager – Caloundra Power Boat Club.

“The broad variety of activity based learning, case studies, and games provided as examples to allow us to physically see and to examine the thinking / actioning of the change process… that you make everyone be involved and endeavour to draw everyone out to be the best that they can be and to recognise that we can all change was awesome”. – Anonymous participant

Sacred Cows Make the Best Burgers - By: Robert Kriegel & David Brandt.

Ken Blanchard author of the “One Minute Manager” described this book as a must read!

In a global environment where change is happening at breakneck speed; competition is tougher, the customer is more sophisticated, margins are shrinking, entire industries are disappearing, and everybody is downsizing-trying to do more with less.

As leading authorities in the field of change and human performance, Kriegal and Brandt show you how to keep ahead of these lightning speed changes, not just keep up! That’s the new paradigm… being one step ahead of your competitors.

Albeit the title may sound a bit quirky, this book is a great resource, full of useful  tools and philosophies designed to keep you ahead of the pack. From my perspective a MUST read!

TRAC’s rating 4 ½ stars; Available from all good book stores or Amazon.com
