VISIONARY LEADERSHIP & ADVANCED FACILITATOR TRAINING PROGRAMS BOTH POSTPONED
Due to our ongoing telecommunications problems since we relocated our TRAC office on 14th September 07 we have had to unfortunately postpone both our popular and well supported Visionary Leadership Program & Advanced Facilitator Training Programs. Emails and phone calls have not been effectively getting through to our new office and we have been advised by our telecommunications provider that they should have a solution for us hopefully by the end of this week. Time is ticking.....
Building Entrepreneurship in Small Business (BESB)
TRAC Consulting in conjunction with CCE (Caloundra City Enterprises) , Business Maroochy and the Hinterland Business Centre were together successful in our latest tender to deliver a business mentoring program for the SME market here on the Sunshine Coast. . AS TRAC has previously delivered similar programs further north in Cairns, Cooktown, Undarra and The Atherton Tablelands and we are currently delivering a Women in Business Mentoring program in the Whitsundays we were thrilled to be successful in winning this tender here in our own backyard to help small and medium size businesses to realise their full potential and for them to ensure long term sustainability in the future.
This program is an Australian Government funded initiative by AusIndustry and is open to small business from the Caloundra, Kawana, Maroochydore, Hinterland and Noosa Regions. Target sectors will be retail, tourism, hospitality, trades and business services. The title of this initiative is "Growing Creative Businesses" and will focus on the themes of Financial Management, Business Sustainability and Environmental Best Practice.

Caloundra Business Awards
TRAC Consulting recently entered into the Caloundra Business Awards and were proud to be a finalist in our category of Professional Services. This achievement adds to TRAC's credibility and recognition of its peers as an industry leader. We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all our business colleagues and those businesses who have supported us since moving to the Sunshine Coast nearly 6 years ago. This is just an amazing part of the world, rich in diversity and opportunity from which to run a business . As we move towards the QLD Tourism Awards and The Sunshine Coast Excellence in Business Awards during the next few weeks and then offically launch the Building Entrpreneurship in Small Business program we look forward to growing and widening our business contacts and forming new partnerships in 2008. AUSSIE HOST Customer Service Workshops
A big thank you to the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and Caloundra City Enterprises for the sponsorship and support of the Caloundra Region Aussie Host VCustomer Service programs. This program is open to all businesses in the Caloundra region and is being fully subsidised for Chamber Members by this very proactive peek industry group. Well done!
Two workshops with 26 participants have been run successfully so far, with a third scheduled for Monday 5th November at the Caloundra Power Boat Club. In Closing
Mark and I including several of our clients would like to wish Carla our office administrator and training support officer a speedy recovery. We certainly miss her fabulous sense of humour, efficiency in getting things done and her ability to keep both Mark and myself on track.
