Workshops deliver affordable business mentoring and training
Program Commencement: The first workshop of the Sunshine Coast Growing Creative Businesses mentoring and training program is being held at the Maroochy Surf Club this Thursday 6 March from 8.30am to 4.30pm . Noosa and Maleny regions will commence later in the year. Enrolments are still being accepted but please telephone TRAC Consulting on 07 5439 7999 to register. There are over 30 mentors who will act as a Panel of Experts sharing experience in finance, human resources, telecommunications and finance sectors plus more. The first workshop covers industrial relations and cash flow management topics. Participating businesses will also have access to extensive online resources from a communications portal. This program will provide up to $7,700.00 of real value for a once only registration and administration fee of $495.00 (Inclusive of GST). The program is run over 18 months and will cover Financial Management, Environmental Best Practice, Business Sustainability, Risk Management, Business Planning and a variety of other valuable topics. This initiative will be available for ALL Business Owners and their Managers. Businesses involved in the Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality, Retail, Manufacturing, Trades and Business Services Sectors are encouraged to participate. The program initiated by Caloundra City Enterprises is facilitated by TRAC Consulting and supported by partnership contributions including the Australian Government funding and assistance from state and local governments. Caloundra City Enterprises interim CEO Gerrie Carr-Macfie said “the depth and breadth of skills and experience available from the mentors will offer a unique opportunity to learn more about hands-on tips to expand businesses enterprises.” “The mentors bring to the training real examples of how to solve problems and successfully overcome some of the challenges that operators face in expanding their businesses,” Ms Carr-MacFie said. This is an Australian Government funded initiative under the Building Entrepreneurship in Small Business program.
