TRAC Consulting

The changing face of TRAC Consulting

The Sunshine Coast’s award winning Business Development Consultancy, TRAC Consulting of Pelican Waters has expanded its global capability by partnering with a recognised US based consultancy group.

Launching their new Business Venture (LearningChange International) at this year’s American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) conference held in San Diego, California, the company directors Mark & Jeanette Jones are overwhelmed by the responsiveness of the market to the new business venture.

Through the partnership and the formation of two new companies, TRAC has expanded its online and e-learning capabilities and currently has projects underway in Sacramento and Chico USA, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gladstone and here on the Sunshine Coast.

The company has three offices with one each in California, Minnesota and Caloundra. The products and services offered by the group are “Worlds Best” and are considered at the forefront of innovation with training, learning and professional development applications.

LearningChange International exists to help governments, corporations, small business and non-profit organisations meet their strategic goals through consultation, facilitation, and e-learning services. Company Director Mark Jones says that “each customised program allows our customers to improve their leadership skills as well as individual, group and team performance. We help their most valuable business resources — the human ones — to function at their peak”.

Tough Times Ahead

Informed commentary suggests that we potentially have at least 1 to 2 years of tough economic times ahead. Big business and governments are already talking about restructures, significant job losses and forced redundancies.

This being the case and given the current financial and business environments have you assessed the potential risks to your business?

If not ...... it should become a priority!

In these unprecedented times of change there may be a need for you to determine if your current business structure and operational models need adjustment to ensure the longevity and sustainability of your business. It’s also a great time to assess new innovations and potential opportunities for your business.

Also, the time is right as we head towards the end of the fiscal year to strategically plan for the future, 2009 and beyond. Typical issues that should be reviewed at this time are:-

  • Revisiting your corporate vision and strategic plan
  • Business Development Planning
  • Professional Development of your team - Expanding your business skills, knowledge base and retention
  • Improving the businesses / your leadership capability
  • Preparing for and embracing change (It’s currently happening all around us)
  • Initiating risk minimisation strategies
  • The Introduction of performance management tools to support and measure your businesses growth

We at TRAC Consulting and LearningChange International apply these same systems and tools to our business, business units that have both achieved significant growth and expansion during the past eighteen months. Our quality systems, expanded online capability, and strategic partnerships have seen us secure a number of large government training contracts, increased public sector consultancy and expanded services to support the development and growth of the small business sector.

If you would like an obligation free opportunity (meeting) to explore effective business strategies for your business, contact Mark Jones on mobile 0421 688877 or via email on mark@tracc.com.au
