The Leadership Kit is a collection of the finest indoor experiential learning initiatives available in the world today. Conveniently packaged, inclusive of detailed instructions and facilitation guide, the Leadership Kit is designed for use in all interactive training situations whether for indoor or outdoor adventure training.
Training elements covered by the Leadership Kit include team building, leadership skills, communication, trust, interdependence and strategic planning.
Electric Fence - Two ropes are positioned between two trees or poles; one being four feet above the ground and the other being six feet above the ground. The object is for the entire team to pass through (between) the ropes. If anyone touches the ropes, the team must start over. The event is done in silence and has a time limit. The success of the team depends upon communication, a clear strategy, group alignment, and individual commitment.
Stepping Stones - The application of the Magic Maze is in every area of our lives. The learning's are always different for each group, but the basic purpose of the maze comes down to identifying how the team is treating their "mistakes" and treating the people who have taken risks to discover them. The team must follow a certain path through a grid of squares on the ground. Steps in the incorrect squares forces the team to start over.
Melt Down - This event is often called impossible at the beginning of the activity. Creativity, coordination, communication, leadership, perseverance, determination and many other team and personal skills will be put to the test during this activity. It is important for teams to find different ways to look at situations and find ways to support each other even when there is no clear path and no one is the expert.
Ice Breakers - Ice breakers are any kind of event that facilitate a group to interact, learn each others names and begin to feel more comfortable participating and having fun together, that it's not possible to list them all. Included in the Treasure Chest, however, are a number of different props that work very well as catalysts for these activities. A koosh ball, an inner tube, a beach ball, a rubber chicken and a nerf ball are all provided for you to create your own icebreakers with. Get original! Make up some fun rules, and have a blast!
